Michael Morell is a poet and amateur photographer born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. His first book of poetry, leaf raking, is a collection of Japanese short form poetry and was released in August 2019. Poems and photographs have recently appeared or are forthcoming in Alien Buddha Zine #9, The Stray Branch, Bleached Butterfly, and Atlas Poetica. Michael earned a Master's in Applied Meditation Studies in 2017.
